As a junior in college at the University of Illinois, a college with nothing close to a film program, I made it my goal to create a film that pushed the boundaries of what student films typically attempt to accomplish. After writing an ambitious script with plenty of action, suspense, and intrigue, including an all-out SWAT team action sequence, I set out to achieve what many claimed would be impossible.

The film has gone through several iterations, but was ultimately finished with a new surround sound audio track. "Toxin" has since gone to premiere at Robert DeNiro's "Tribeca Cinemas" in New York City. In addition, it has screened at the Beverly Hills High-Definition Film Festival as well as the Chicago International Reel Shorts Film Festival. The film was also voted as one of the top six student films in the nation by Penguin Group Publishers in their annual film festival.
